RARE COVER PROOF ILLUSTRATED BY THE LEGENDARY FANTASY MASTER, BORIS.This amazing and scarce collector's item was by Boris Vallejo for use as the front cover to the paperback featuring the famous "Tek" property created by Shatner, the legendary actor and the creator of these novels, and his portrait is on the left side . This is not the common published paperback book or some torn-off cover or mass-produced print or litho; there are no pages, it's a real production proof, so this unique item is for the discriminating Tek fiend or Star Trek collector or Scientology aficionado or fan of unique production artwork. Dimensions are approximately 7" x 9.5", and it of course was never taped or stapled or glued. It is glossy on the front with metallic gold foil embossed logos, and blank white with a matte-finish on reverse. It is impossible to overstate the scope of Kirk's eternal appeal, much like the vaunted cover artist, Boris. Extremely bright colors and superb gloss.
