WHITTARD OF CHELSEA "STRIPE" HANDPAINTED TEA FOR SET This gorgeous Whittard Of Chelsea teapot/ cup and saucer combo set comes in a striking multi-coloured stripe design with a vibrant blue saucer and matching accenting on the spout, handles and lid of the teapot. Handpainted on stoneware, this is a really lovely eye-catching and top quality set. Curvaceously shaped with a traditional teapot at the top which has a comfortable handle and holds a generous one person portion of tea, with the bottom section being a nice wide cup. Overall it stands @ 5 1/4 " tall (with lid) and measures @ 7 1/2 " from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle; the cup has a diameter of @4 1/4 " across the top rim and the matching saucer has a diameter of 6 7/8 " - all the individual pieces are stamped on the base with the "Whittard Of Chelsea" mark - fully dishwasher and microwave safe.It is offered in excellent overall condition with no chips, cracks or crazing to the main body, clean on both the inside and outside - never actually used, only displayed. * Please take a moment to view all the photographs where I have tried to capture all the relevant details of this lovely teapot set * An excellent addition to any collection, this is a beautiful good quality set which would look equally fantastic when in use or simply displayed on a dresser or as a focal feature in any kitchen. ---------------------------- If you have a moment please take the time to view my other items, both at auction and in my shop - I am happy to combine postage on a reduced basis.
