(SG0105)These are wonderfully colorful sets of four pedestal sherbet dishes with underplate, manufactured by Westmoreland in the Della Robbia pattern. Each raised patterned dish is made of crystal color glass, has a slightly flared rim and is 3 ½" high with a 3" diameter base. Fruits are hand painted in iridescent cranberry, purple and gold. Matching underplates are 6" in diameter with the same fruit pattern. The pedestal base on the sherbets is a perfect fit for the plate. Made by Westmoreland between 1930-1940, they are featured in Gene Florence's book on Elegant Glass.
