Offered is this size 8 cast iron skillet manufactured by the Wagner Mfg. Co. in Sidney, Ohio, circa 1936. A good reference can be found on page 234 in Smith & Wafford's "The Book of Griswold & Wagner" (blue book).Markings : LONG LIFE SKILLET 1758 A . There is also an impressed 8 on the top of the handle.This has a 10 7/16 inch diameter rim standing 2 1/16 inches tall. It measures 11 inches from spout to spout, 15 1/4 inches from the end of its handle across the pan and weighs 3 pounds 12.7 ounces.Condition : When sat on a flat surface there is a 1/8 inch wobble. There are no chips, cracks rust or pitting. It has been thoroughly cleaned by electrolysis, seasoned with vegetable shortening and is ready for cooking.
