Vintage Picture Album with 72 black & white & sepia snapshots. There are snapshots of the MONTANA SCHOOL of MINES graduates from the class of 1936 trip aboard the "S.S. NORTH SEA ***JUNEAU" , it's shipwreck event and the rescue at sea. Snapshots of on board ship,Totem Poles..icebergs...Ptarmigan....landscapes...seascapes and many more photos. There are other miscellaneous snapshots in the album of buildings, groups of people and tourist attractions from other places. Two of the snapshots look like mining related images. There is also included an envelope with the negatives of most of the photos. Included are Newspaper clippings, "May 15, 1936 BUTTE MONTANA STANDARD, Morning Edition" newspaper reporting the event. There is also a newspaper photo of those going on the cruise. The 12" X 7 1/2" album is heavy black leather textured "cardboard/paper", the pages are black. "PICTURES" is printed on the cover. There are places where pictures have been mounted but the photos are missing. There are many unused pages left in the picture album. This album is in very good condition. Questions? Please email me.
