.....very modernist...... This is a wonderful Modernist style pin/pendant from Victor Jaimez and Miguel Martinez of Taxco, Mexico. Featuring a trapezoidal shape, the sterling silver pin/pendant is horizontally striped with deep black enamel and dotted within the enamel with silver. The pin/pendant closes on the back with a well working safety clasp and there is a hook for a chain or collar. I will be including a new sterling silver collar as shown in the photos, so that you can immediately wear this as a necklace. Simply remove the collar and you can wear this as a pin or thread a chain or collar of your own through the hook to wear as a necklace. Very nice! Victor Jaimez worked with many of Taxco's famous tallers, including William Spratling's Taller de Las Delicias. Miguel Martinez was a well known designer in Taxco and was the primary designer at Rancho Alegre and worked with many of the great artisans in Taxco as well as providing designs for Emma.
