You are viewing a rare pair of Sterling Silver and Turquoise, earrings, by Matilde Poulat. This gorgeous pair of 'Matl' earrings consists of five platelets, The platelets are graduated and linked together, each platelet containing, channel set, Turquoise stones. At the bottom of each earring are four, creative dangles, each dangle containing a round, bezel set, Turquoise stone. The pierced top has applied, Silver balls, and post backs with oversized clutches (see photos), for pierced ears. The clutches are original. The earrings, also have applied, Silver tags, reading 'Matl', 'M.REG15', '14-2093', 'MEXICO 925', 'MS 12'. Thelong earrings measure, approximately, 2 3/4", and weigh 25.7 grams. They are unpolished, exhibiting a darkened, aged, patina. Originally purchased at Indian Market in Santa Fe, several years ago. A rare pair of all Turquoise earrings, from my personal collection.
