Offered today is my WONDERFUL CROSSES and STARS quilt handmade by a group of grannies! The fabric is a lovely floral rose pattern that is pink and green. The body of the quilt is a lovely field of crosses with an eight point star in between them. The colors really go together beautifully. It is in great condition and has NO rips, tears, or holes. The field is bordered by a pink zigzag pattern through greenery. Bordering that is a nice pink stripe pattern that really sets it off! It is cotton and measures a 82 X 66 full inches. The back is plain white. The back has some stitching that shows through to make the back very special. This quilt is a very fine piece. It displays very nice and is in awesome condition. It is displayed on a queen bed and covers nicely. There are many handsewn seams as well as machine sewn seams. I believe this quilt to be vintage. With that being said, there may be an occasional loose seam or small stain. That is to be expected in a piece that is used. I wash and mend all the seams and stains I find. However I am human and miss one occasionally. Please contact me for any questions, I will be happy to answer. This quilt will make a FANTASTIC spread. Will make a WONDERFUL gift or keepsake.
