* adorable vintage cake plate with a precious pair of cupids/cherubs (looks like a boy in blue and girl in red) whispering at center surrounded by flowers, ribbon and little hovering butterflies* wide dark burgundy maroon border with gilded accents* 12" at the decorative ornate handles x 11"* marked CT with eagle for Carl Tielsch from Altwasser, Germany; founded in 1843 and then became part of the Hutschenreuther company in 1918* also numbered 9890 148* excellent except for cracks at upper/lower left of center - visible when held/displayed at certain angles - we think still totally usable for cakes/pastries and of course for cabinet display - just wipe clean when needed vs. submerging in water* we have tried to photograph the damage though we know may be hard to see on photos - please look at all pictures and please ask any questions as we want you to be delighted with your purchase...we carefully pack and ship fast so you will get quickly!Track Page Views WithAuctiva's FREE Counter
