The turtle’s legs are silver tone and tipped with gold tone. Kenneth Jay Lane used two toned metal in many of his early pieces. The pin is signed K.J.L. on the reverse which dates it to the 1960's, his earliest period.The masterpiece was sitting in jewelry collector’s glass display all the time and was taking out just to take pictures… Measure app. 61 mm L x 42 mm W x 20 mm H.
