A very large original oil painting on canvas of The Vision of Saint Hubert, patron saint of hunters. It measures 49" x 32". Some minor frame damage but the painting is in good condition. Signature not found but there may be a signature behind the frame. The story of this painting, courtesy of Museo Del Prado:"Legend has it that Saint Hubert encountered a magnificent buck while hunting. When he tried to kill the animal, he saw a cross appear between the animal ́s antlers. That is when he took the Christian faith."
