This auction is for a very nice, very gently used, Vintage Young Edwardian by Arpeja Velvet Dress from the 1970's. It comes in a rich Chocolate brown velvet fabric. It features a stand-up, high neck collar, and puffed sleeve caps, that extend to a fitted long sleeve. The dress has a shorter length and a shift-like shape, with flattering vertical seaming and a slightly tapered waist. It closes with zipper in the back. It is a size 9 and measures 18" across the bustline, when laying flat from armpit to armpit, 16" across the waistline, 19 3/4" across the hipline and the overall length of the dress is 34" from top of shoulder seam to bottom edge of hem. The dress measures 22" across the back of bodice from mid-shoulder to mid-shoulder and the sleeve length is 23".
