This is a vintage wooden spool or spindle or bobbin that was used at an industrial textile mill factory. It is 6.5 inches tall. One end is 2.25 inches and the other end is 2 inches. Each end has a metal strap like around it. See the pictures. There is no markings on the spool to know who made it or where it came from.
