Vintage wood spools, some with thread, assorted colors, manufacturers and sizes. Manufacturers: Coats & Clarks, J. & P. Coats, Talon, Clark’s, Star (American Thread Co.), Belding Corticelli, Belding Hemimway (with silk thread – outer surface soiled).The Paper Bobbin is a Star Bobbin by American Thread with nylon thread.There are 2 black spools by Belding Brothers & Co. Belding Brothers & Company merged with Heminway Silk Company in 1925 and did business as Belding-Heminway. Soon after, the company was acquired by Corticelli Silk Company and did business as Belding-Heminway-Corticelli.
