Vintage Whiting & Davis Co. Mesh Dance Bag Flowered Black & White Purse HandbagUp for your consideration is a beautiful, fully marked Whiting and Davis Co. Mesh Bag. The background of the purse is buttery off-white with a design of flowers and leaves in black enamel. The frame is silver-tone with scrolling and diamond design. The closure is by a thumb clasp. The inside of the frame is marked “Mesh/Whiting and Davis Co/Bags” on both sides of the frame and “Made in U.S.A.” on one side of the frame.The bag is in very good condition with very little to no wear to the enameling. The chain handle is in great condition, too. The only thing to mention is one ring that connects the enamel to the frame has come detached. With some patience and a small tool, it can be reattached.The purse measures about 4-1/2” wide by 6” long without the chain handle.
