Up for bid is a vintage Wellington II typewriter sold I guess by the Wanamaker department store. Serial number 4971. The machine shows usage and wear but still appears to be in working condition albeit a bit sluggish. The case shows paint wear but the latches still work and the handle is present. The wood base has veneer missing on the bottom plus some chips on the top (see pictures). The black painted top where the name is has crazing lines (see closeup picture). There is also plating loss on the bright work. The machine seems to be otherwise pretty much complete and should clean up. Either that or good for parts. Selling AS IS. Any questions please E-Mail.
