This auction is for a sterling silver Charles Horner thimble and a silver plated copy thimble in it's original box. These thimbles are both in good vintage condition, but the Charles Horner one is not perfectly round but slightly oval in shape. The Charles Horner thimble is marked as sterling silver, registered in Chester, dated 1898 and measures approximately 2cm in diameter and 2.5cm high and weighs 5 grams. The second silver plate copy is approximately 1.5 cm in diameter by 2.5cm high. Item photographs are part of our description and if there are specific condition points to mention we will do so, but it is our photos that give the most accurate impression. We take close-ups and mostly minuscule scratches or "dings" can appear much bigger and intense than they really are, but we prefer our customers to be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed. We also of course offer a refund if customers are not 100% happy with a purchase. Please get in touch if you have any further questions. Good luck bidding and please take a look at my other items.
