Vintage Sterling Silver Vermeil Sweater Pin Double Penguin w/ Stones Circa 1940s Mark: “STERLING” on back of each penguin (see photos) Approximate measurements: 1” tall x ½” wide. The chains are 3 ¾” and 4 ¼” long Approximate weight is 12 grams I tested some of the stones using my gem tester (see photos) and some of the stones appear to be diamond chips while others appear to be sapphire. Condition: There is some minor wear to the metal if you look closely. The “O-Ring” for the connector chain needs to be repaired – see photos. This is a relatively simple and inexpensive repair. The 2 nd damage that I found is that “fold-over ring” is missing the small “fold over” which would securely keep in the pin attached/in place. All stones are intact, no missing stones. If you have any questions or want additional photos, please "ask seller a question" prior to bidding/purchase. Needs a good professional cleaning.
