Here I have an vintage pair of dress clips on a removable framework brooch, known as a duette. They can either be worn together as one large brooch or separately as 2 dress clips. They're made of solid silver and are encrusted throughout with lots of sparkly Marcasite stones. The brooch part fastens with a rollover clasp. As with many vintage pieces, they're unmarked but the brooches and frame all acid test as solid silver . As a brooch, it measures 4.8cm by 2.0cm. Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. No missing marcasites and the clips work well and snap shut nicely. The silver is in good condition with just the usual light marks and tarnish which you'd expect on a vintage item.
