Zuni.This substantial heavy ring features (8) chunky cool blue turquoise nuggets with saw tooth bezels.It is an approximate size 7.This ring is substantial measuring at 1/2" x 2" and weighing 11 grams.This statement ring is in excellent condition and ready to showcase your next summer event.very collectible ring please read the folllowing bio of Alvina Quam.Alvina Quam is noted as a Zuni legend, language translator, and teacher.Alvina is the daughter of the very famed Zuni jeweler Alice Quam and arespected and well-known jeweler in her own right.Her and her daughter, considered a legend by many and their work isconsidered rare and exceedingly difficult to find.She worked under her mother's shop. Alice Quam (1945 -2003) herself isthe daughter of Wayne and Doris Ondelace, well are well known for their cluster jewelry from the 1930's . Alvina Quam, started at a younger age and did chunkier work, using heaviersterling with amazing smith workmanship as well.
