Vintage SHORE & COGGINS Bell China SWALLOWS Tea Plate ART DECO 1930's *Stunning* DESCRIPTION Victorian and Vintage Description - This is a fabulous vintage china tea plate that was crafted in the 1930's by Shore & Coggins at their Edensor Works pottery in Longton, Staffordshire, trading under the name 'Superior English Bell China'. The plate has a white base and is decorated with a wonderful broad border around the plate brim - a repeated pattern of stunning blue swallows set against a pale blue sky with white fluffy clods and a skyline of green traees; some of the swallows are large and there are additional smaller swallows in the distance. The detail and colours on the larger swallows is very eye catching!!! The plate rim is finished with a fine gold trim. The plate would look especially good in a vintage, country cottage or shabby chic setting. It looks fabulous on display!!! A stunning Shore & Coggins Art Deco china Swallows tea plate!!! Dimensions - The plate measures just short of 7" (17 cm) wide. Markings - The base of the plate bears the makers backstamp. Condition - The plate is in great condition - there are no cracks, chips or crazing and the colours are still clear and vibrant. Please see photographs for extra descriptive detail.
