Selling our Private Collection of Shawnee Pottery. This MINIATURE VASE is only approximately 1 1/4 x 3" . The base is only 1 1/8 x 1 1/4" in diameter.It is known as the SHELL VASE OR PLANTER.Color is a dark green. Typical glazed bottom with unglazed rim. USA is difficult to see. I can make out only one letter.Made by the Shawnee Pottery Company, Zanesville, Ohio. Circa 1940's.A chance to own a rare piece but it does have damage on one side that I enlarged. It doesn't go through. See photos for more detail. .Payment requested in 3 days after auction end.
