WELCOME UP FOR AUCTION ONE MATCHING SET ONE PAIR OF VINTAGE MARBLE/STONE CARVED FIGURAL BOOKENDS IN GOOD USED CONDITION FOR THE AGE. EACH BOOKEND DEPICTS A MONK/RELIGIOUS FIGURINE SETTING WITH ONE HAND RESTING ON TOP OF THERE LEG. WHEN BACKED UP TO EACH OTHER THEY SET WHAT LOOKS TO BE LEGS CROSSED. ALMOST LOOK CARVED/POSED THE SAME, BUT OPPOSITE. VERY DETAILED SCROLLING ON EACH BOOKEND. VERY UNIQUE. BOOKENDS WEIGH JUST ALITTLE OVER 1LB. EACH. EACH BOOKEND STANDS 5" TALL X 2 1/4" WIDE X 1 1/2" THICK LIGHT BROWN IN COLOR. MINOR CHIPPING/SCRATCHES ON EACH BOOKEND, FROM YEARS OF USE/DISPLAY. NOTE: ON ONE BOOKEND THE IS MINOR DAMAGE ON THE TOP/HEAD OF FIGURINE. POSSIBLY DUE TO A FALL OR DROP OVER TIME. DOES NOT TAKE AWAY FROM SUCH NICE BOOKENDS, AND SHOULD NOT AFFECT THE USE/DISPLAY.
