SET OF 7 VINTAGE 1954-1990 SELTMANN-WEIDEN MUGS! For your consideration is this very pretty set of vintage mugs that were produced by Seltmann Weiden - Bavaria/W. Germany, which is one of the last (& still is) family-owned, large, porcelain producers of the area. From my research on them, this set was produced between 1954-1990, according to the dating of the mark. Although I could not find these particular mugs anywhere in my research or online, especially with the '9' marking, I think they may be of the 'Renate' design, but they are definitely in the 'Flora' pattern. If interested, I have included the company history for extra info. at the end of my listing. There are a total of 7 mugs that are included in this listing & they are as follows: (2) pink flowers 'Convolvulus arvensis' (field bindweed) (2) larger purple flowers 'Campanula pusilla' (bellflower; blue bells or N.J. Jacquin) (2) small purple flowers 'Legousia Speculum-Veneris' (Venus' Looking Glass) &(1) yellow flowers 'Lotus corniculatus' (Lotus; bird's foot or trefoil) They each measure 3 1/4" tall x 3" diameter x 4 1/8" wide from rim-end of handle. They are in very good condition except for some mild wear to the green rims. Please see photos, as these are the actual set the winning bidder will receive.
