Here we have a 'NICE' Vintage Screw-Arm Beech Plow Plane w/ BOXWOOD Arms and Nuts + 2 cutting irons. There is no maker name on the toe but it is stamped on the heel No. 89 so it is probably a well-know maker. This plow plane is in Very, Very Good condition with a nice crisp feel to it. It doesn't look as if it had been used very much ! I see no cracks in the body (tiny short tight crack near the wedge), fence, or arms. The Beech body and fence just has a an occasional light stain. The BOXWOOD screw arms only have one chip and the nuts go on and off, and tighten as designed. I see only one tight hairline crack in one of the flat nuts. The body has a nice brass working depth stop with a locking feature. The cutting iron wedge barely has any mallet marks ! There is a little pitting on the skate. The plane comes equipped with a set of 2 matching cutting irons (no Maker names): a 1/2" and a 9/16". There are couple of owner initials on the heel."Apologies": see the minor comments above.** Please remember to leave Feedback . I will gladly reciprocate. :-)
