This is a rare vintage Schwabacher's Colonial double bit axe head that is free of wood and it is in good sound condition with faint to fair makers marks and also marked with a W see pic no 6 The head is 9 1/8" end to end and 4" across axe bits and head weighs 3 lbs 8 ozs Information on this axe is found in "Axe Makers of North America" Page 58 Please refer to close up pics We do combine items to save on shipping cost.
