It measures 86" by 70" across and weighs 4 lbs unboxed. The bed is a queen, 80" by 60".Please notice this is a "rustic" quilt, meaning it is far from geometric perfection, as it is obvious observing the curves that the sashing strips make all over the quilt (practically none of the strips cross each other at right angles, see pic # 2).There are several feed sacks in this quilt, including the sashing strips. The sewing of the appliques was done by hand, as well as the quilting.Please observe this is a TIED quilt; the ties are blue cotton thread.There is no cotton fluffy batting inside: the "batting" seems to be one or maybe more than one cotton sheets.The backing is a printed fabric from the 1980's, we believe, and it seems newer than the star blocks used for the appliques.We combine shipping.
