Vintage Royal Crown (Arnart) Young Girl Figurine with Lamb Hand Painted ~Matte Finish ~ Some Glaze Approximately 5" H x 3 1/8" W Base Circa 1950's-1980's Royal Crown Backstamp "This Royal Crown mark was used by Arnart Imports Inc. of New York City from 1957 to 1987. Arnart was founded in 1953 and is still in business. Arnart tableware, giftware, and figurines are made in Japan. Over the years, Arnart has used several different marks similar to German porcelain manufacturers' marks, including beehive marks, crossed arrows with feathered ends, and variations of the crown mark. Some Arnart figurines are marked with a sticker as well as a printed mark." JapanPurchased at a recent estate sale. Nice clean piece. Some age related crazing. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
