This is a 1950's original working "Roaring Gorilla" tin battery operated shooting gallery mechanical toy COMPLETE with box, gun, and corks. This toy was made by Modern, Inc. The Roaring Gorilla is in excellent working condition and comes totally complete: Tin Roaring Gorilla, Cork Gun with 4 Corks, and Cardboard Shooting Gallery which is displayed inside the box when the sides of the box are folded outward. When you shoot the Roaring Gorilla's chest (round target) with the cork gun he will roar and his eyes will light up green and he raises his arms up. The battery compartment is extremely clean. The Tin Roaring Gorilla is in Excellent Condition and I have not found anything wrong with him -- maybe a few minor scratches. There is no discoloration - all of his colors are bright and have not faded at all...check out the pictures. All the functions work: On/Off Switch works, Arms Raise, Eyes Light up and he makes a Roaring Noise. The cork gun works perfect and comes with 4 corks. The gun has very minor wear scratches--see pictures. The Box has some tears and splits and creases and has been taped back together in places. This Roaring Gorilla Shooting Gallery is highly collectible. The battery compartment takes 2 "D" cell batteries--not included. The Roaring Gorilla is approximately 10" high by 7" wide.
