This beautifully decorated tobacco canister has been well loved and now needs a new home. It measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter, and approximately 4 1/2 inches to top of pipe stem. The lid is adorned with a miniature pipe and cigar. It is engraved with the initials L.A. Intricate silver detail surrounds the base and lid. There is significant wear of the silver quadruple plating on base exterior (see photo 3), but lid is in good shape. The inside of the canister has some significant staining.(See photo 4) This item was designed and manufactured by Apollo Silver Company. It has been in our family for 4 generations.
