Today I have up for consideration a Pyrex - Mixing Bowl. This piece is in the Snowflake Garland pattern #444 . This piece is 13" long, 10-1/4" wide & 4-3/8" tall. This piece holds 4 Qt. This piece has the Cinderella handles, which makes it easier to pour. This piece is a product of Corning Inc. The Stamp reads: 444 - 4 QT - Trademark 11 Pyrex Made in USA Ovenware The History of Corning Inc C orning Incorporated is an American manufacturer of glass, ceramics & related materials, primarily for industrial & scientific applications. The company was known as Corning Glass Works until 1989. Corning Glass Works was established in Massachusetts in 1851 by a member of the founding Houghton family. In 1918, it acquired Steuben Glass works. Although the company is publicly owned, James R Houghton, a descendant of the founder, serves as chairman of the board of directors.
