This unusual California Pottery dinosaur handle gourd cup was made by Sasha Katchamakoff of Los Angeles. The semi-gloss glaze is a peachy pink with a satiny finish. The handle of the cup takes the curved shape of a long-necked dinosaur resting so that the top of his head forms a sort of stand to balance the cup. The dinosaur has a friendly face and a collar around his neck. If not for the animal head, the overall shape is that of a crook-necked gourd.Sasha Studios operated in Los Angeles, California.
