Wow! 2 Extremely Rare and Beautiful Vintage Early Noritake Handpainted Cup and Saucer Sets!Up for sale are 2 very rare vintage early Noritake cup and saucer sets. I cannot identify the pattern even after purchasing 2 books on Noritake and combing the internet. The cups and saucers are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The pieces have raised gold medallions and are decorated with cobalt blue enamel work. They are trimmed with a Greek key design along the tops. The cups are 2 inches tall and the saucers are 5 1/2 inches in diameter. All pieces are marked with the Noritake "M" with wreath, "hand-painted" and "made in Japan". The mark indicates that these pieces were made very early in the history of the Noritake company. These 2 very unusual vintage Noritake cup and saucer sets would make a wonderful addition to any Noritake collection! Thanks for viewing my listing! Read my feedback and buy with confidence!
