Offered is a Vintage Miami Florida Collector Plate produced for Burdine's Department Store in Miami, Florida. Burdine's was a department store chain operating in Florida with its flagship store located in downtown Miami. In 2004, Burdine's was taken over by Macy's. The plate features scenes of various landmarks and scenery, including the Dade County Court House.The plate is very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The colors are bright with a nice glaze finish.The plate was produced by Vernon Kilns, an American ceramics company in Vernon, California. They were one of the "Big Five" California potteries and were founded in 1931 and closed in 1958.The plate measures 10 3/8" diameter.Please review all photos as they are a major part of the description.
