Listed for auction is a vintage man's hat from Berg, Fifth Ave, New York. Hat is in the original box which shows some wear. The box is marked "Heatherdown" and underneath that is says "Deep Brown". It appears to be felted wool. The inside of the hat is marked "felted by master craftsmen". Hat has a 2" fabric ribbon band with a green feather. I am not sure of the size. It is not marked inside the hat but the outside of the box is marked "7/8". Overall the hat is in excellent condition. T are a few tiny spots on the brim w the wool is slightly lower. It is hard to describe and pictures won't show it. It is noticeable if you are looking very closely. It doesn't detract from beauty of the hat in any way! The inside of the hat is very clean. It appears to have seen very slight wear, if any. This is a wonderful vintage hat! Please see all of the pictures and email any questions. Thanks for looking!
