VINTAGE MCKEE COBALT BLUE GLASS SUNBEAM PATTERN WITH GOLD TOOTHPICK HOLDER EAPGA beautiful piece of early American made pattern glass in the form of a lovely little pattern glass toothpick holder. It was made by the McKee & Bros. Glass Company, formerly of Jeanette, Pennsylvania in a cobalt blue colored glass. This was McKee's "Sunbeam" pattern and is decorated with gold trim around the top rim. It is a quality piece of pressed glass. This was part of my Mother's toothpick holder collection and according to her records she purchased this in 1987.This pattern is pictured in the book Glass Toothpick Holders: Second Edition by Neila & Tom Bredehoft and Jo & Bob Sanford on page 125.It is a very nice example and gorgeous as you can see from the photos! If you are not familiar with the NTHCS (National Toothpick Holder Collectors' Society) it is a great organization and you can learn more about them and collecting toothpick holders at their website.I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. However, do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or with requests for additional pictures. I will get back to you as soon as I am able.
