Magnificent, rare vintage 1950s California art pottery ashtray. Signed by Maurice of California. In absolutely pristine condition! Packed away for decades. No chips, cracks or crazing. 13.5 " long by 6.5" wide. This is hand made and hand painted with gold accents. No chips, cracks or crazing . Circa 1955The heyday of California Pottery was from the 1920's through the 1950's. There were a number of talented artisans producing colorful and dramatic designs in the Southern California area. Today, pottery wares from California are becoming more, and more collectible.
