RARE VINTAGE LOU GEHRIG NEW YORK YANKEES WWII US SPECIAL SERVICES HILLERICH & BRADSBY BASEBALL BAT! This bat would be a great gift for any fan of the New York Yankees or Lou Gehrig. The bat is a vintage US Special Services (circa WWII) Hillerich & Bradsby H&B baseball bat. The bat is approx. 35 inches long. This bat was made by Hillerich & Bradsby in the U.S.A. The is a US Special Services bat which was given to soldiers during times of war. The middle front of the bat reads: Hillerich & Bradsby CO. H&B NO. 50 Louisville, KY. The front of the barrel reads: U.S. Lou Gehrig. The knob of the bat has the number 35" engraved on it. No cracks are noted on the bat (please see photos). The handle of the bat has black tape on it (please see photos). The bat has age darkening, scuffing, soiling, tape residue, dirt soiling, denting, chipping, nicks, and light wood loss (please see photos). Otherwise, the bat is in good condition and is ready to be displayed (please see photos). The bat will be packed with care. Please check out our other vintage auctions!
