John Wright Antique reproduction bank "Uncle Sam" This is the unpainted version. Much more desirable cast bank plug, not the rubber plug found in later production banks. This dates back to the 50's and not the cheap Chinese versions. In original box still sealed in plastic cover. Comes with John Wright certificate of authenticity by The Book Of Knowledge, also comes with bank instructions. This Uncle Sam is no longer in production and was never opened. is an authentic reproduction of the original antique in the collection from The John Wright Co., in Wrightsville Pa. This particular piece is hard to find in unopened condition with original box.. The very same processes and technique which created the original have been employed in the making of this fine reproduction. Molds were made from the original molds, hand-cast in sand, and this reproduction then hand assembled and hand decorated. You will not be disappointed with this.
