Old, very nice quilt, a bit thick, but not enough to be a comforter, in a pattern which can be called Periwinkle, but it might have other names. The fabrics used are all 100% cotton, and some of them seems to us to have been parts of feed sacks recovered in a farm environment, but we are no experts, so please check the many close-ups below and you be the judge of that. The quilt has hundreds, if not a thousand or more seams, and we counted just 62 that need repair, so the situation, although bad for people like us who don't have any idea about repairing quilts, is quite desperate, but it might be not that bad for you experts and quilters out there. It measures 80" by 66". The bed in the photos is a queen size, 80" by 60", and the quilt barely covers it, as you can see. Damages start here... this pic shows the frayed top binding and some clumps of loose batting. This is the only part of the binding that is in bad shape.
