VINTAGE HADRILL HORSTMANN DESK LAMP. Modernist counterpoised task/work light Description Mouse over images to see enlarged version This is a classic Hadrill Horstmann counterbalanced or cantilevered desk lamp favoured by architects and draughstmen since the fifties. It is in very good condition and proper working order having been rewired, earthed and tested. Inevitably it has some small blemishes commensurate with it's age and use but nothing of any significance or that can't be assessed from the pictures and is a fine example in a rare finish. It takes a standard bayonet bulb and has an in-line switch on the cable. The shade diameter is 13cm, the top arm is 28cm and the upright arms approximately 46cm.
