Unique Find!!!!This Lamb Cake Mold is from Griswold and is cast iron, it comes in it's original box along with the recipe and instructions for making a cake inside. The original box does show some signs of wear but just a bonus to such a great piece of Griswold. The mold is in the shape of a Lamb and is Cat. No. 866 and numbered on the front of the mold, this front piece is also numbered 922. The back piece is numbered as well 921, the back piece also features 3 in it which is so the cake can vent and rise. The mold is approximately 13" long, 7 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" deep. This mold is in very nice condition with minimal signs of wear, it looks like it may have some dirt and dust build up on the inside. This cake mold was made in Erie, PA. according to the box, it also states on the box that this cast iron came pre-seasoned. The box also states that this is "Early American Quality Cast Iron".
