This is a vintage china dish made especially for the George Washington Mount Vernon estate in Virginia. Dish is in great like-new condition. Painted on the top are the grounds at Mt Vernon, and George himself on the inside cover.Georgey Boy looks kinda pissed if you ask me! Do you suppose he had a condition? "Oooh, my tummy hurts!" I imagine him saying.Bottom has the lettering "Imported From England Exclusively For Historic Mount Vernon The Home of George Washington. Made in Staffordshire England.I find that all a bit ironic given the, y'know, Revolutionary War and all, but hey! I'm selling, you're buying, amirite?
