The marking under the lid reads: Lion Symbol & letter S. The marking on the casing edge reads: TA & C Co. - Lion Symbol - S - Anchor Symbol (see photo). This vintage piece has been polished. The top has a tight fit and the casing seems to be in good condition. This piece has a bottom edge striker and a nice ornate leaf design.
