Elgin American Beauty goldtone compact is features a laurel wreath on the front, with a crown at the top and a belt-like design within the wreath. At the center of the wreath are 7 crystal stones arranged in a flower shape. There is a fine ribbed design on the back.The inside mirror is in good shape, a little powdery. The hinged door works smoothly. Powder pad is marked Elgin American, and the hinged cover has American Beauty engraved in it.Nice shape overall, some light scratches on the cover.The compact is 2 5/8" x 2 1/4".
