Here we have a table lamp featuring the work of the British artist Edith Holden and her piece entitled "Blue tit, Coal tit, Great tit" originally painted for inclusion as the January image in her "Phenology of the English Midlands by Month, 1905-1906".The painted image features all of the birds along with the Queen Anne's Lace flower.Measures approximately 26 inches from the bottom to the top of the finial and approximately 8 inches wide across the base. The approximate weight is just over 6 pounds. The screw top of the finial is missing and the lamp is in working condition and comes without a lampshade.There are no cracks, chips or stains. There are two dark scuff marks: one on the top of the lamp measuring approximately 1/2 inch and a second on the rear of the lamp that is slightly under 1/2 inch.The felted base does show some expected signs of wear.Again, please note that this lamp does NOT come with a lampshade.
