Vintage big old hoop earrings. 22k yellow gold and various gems. Navaratna. Made in India a few decades ago (no serious age).Measurements: Diameter is approximately 1 5/8 inch (4.25cm). Weigh 7.3 grams.Description : Large hoop earrings. High carat gold is reinforced and supported inside the hoop by a band of gold. Lovely flower form collette settings to gems of various colors that make up the 9 colors of Navaratna jewelry. This jewelry was auspicious and amuletic (brought benefits to the wearer and prevented negative influences from affecting the wearer).Marks: Earrings have no marks but were acid tested to ensure metal purity. Gold stays clearly for 22k. Butterflies are engraved 585 (14k).Condition: Good with minor wear commensurate with age.
