DescriptionRare vintage Dietz Comet mini lantern of 50's, made in U.S.A. There is dust and dirt on the lantern as shown. Glass shade is original, thread on the burner is missing. In early days this type of mini lantern was the favorite of the Boy Scouts and used for outdoor use such as camping, picnics etc. It is indeed a rare small size lantern hard to find, would be a good addition to any old lantern collection and a must for vintage mini lantern collector's...Some later lanterns were made in China, but the more desired ones were made in the USA as this one is.Diameter : 4.3 inchesHeight : 8.5 inches
