I buy vintage linens at local estate auctions and always keep an eye out for small treasures. This is one, a brooch in the Dedham Pottery style.This is a small round brooch made of porcelain in the Dedham Pottery style; I believe it was made by Potting Shed after Dedham ceased production. It is a 2" diameter circle with a design of two Dedham rabbits in dark cobalt blue on white, with the traditional crazing. On the back a brooch pin has been glued on securely.This is in very good condition with one exception: there's a chip on the back. It isn't visible from the front, but it's a bit over 1/4" at its widest. I have adjusted the price accordingly, since it may still be of interest to the collector of Dedham rabbits.I am storing this in my smoke-free home. Please contact me for more information or photos.
