Beautiful Vintage Collectible Souvenir Travel Doll from the San Blas Islands of PanamaThis beautiful collectible travel doll doll was a gift from my father back in the 1950s. I have treasured her ever since but am willing to let go of her for someone else to enjoy.This doll has a plastic body, cotton patterned cloth clothing believed to be traditional dress (as influenced by the missionaries and surrounding islands), beaded wrist cuffs and a single ankle cuff, finished with large round golden paper earrings. Her black hair is partially exposed; covered by a red and gold pattered cloth head scarf.She has "sleepy eyes" which open and close as expected; painted red cheeks and lips; delicate black eye lashes and eyebrows. Her head pivots and twists at the neck; her arms pivot and pose independently in one dimension forwards and backwards.She stands approximately 8 inches tall - sometimes with the help of a stand.Please note that the doll stand used to pose her in the photos is not included as part of this listing.I have done my best to describe this item but pictures often do a better job.
